P1-13

 PERCUSSION ONE has expanded to provide instruction and performance opportunities for junior high / middle school percussionists.  P1-13 offers snare drum, mallet keyboard, percussion ensemble, Latin percussion, All Region music help sessions and overall preparedness for high school drumline.

Percussion One Foundation continues to set new standards with the P1-13 ensembles being selected as the first, and only, independent middle school/junior high percussion ensemble to perform among the finest high school, collegiate and professional percussion groups from around the country and world.

P1-13 is divided into 2 semesters, fall and spring. The fall semester begins immediately following the start of the school year, and the spring semester begins in January.

The P1-13 Klein chapter currently rehearses at Klein Collins High School band hall on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 – 7:30PM.

  • May 2012 – Relay for Life, benefiting cancer research, at Klein Oak High School

  • May 2011 – Relay for Life, benefiting cancer research, at Klein Oak High School

  • March 2011 – Blue Man Group “performance preludes” at all 7 shows at Jones Hall

  •  February 2011 – Performance and clinic demonstration at the Texas Music Educators Association Annual Convention, San Antonio, TX
