Jerriald Dillard

Mr. Dillard is an associate director and the percussion specialist at Oak Ridge High School. He also instructs the Symphonic Band and percussionists at York Junior High School, a feeder program for Oak Ridge.

Previously, Mr. Dillard taught at Texas City High School where his percussionists earned honors in region, area, and state level bands. His percussion ensembles consistently received first division ratings at both region and state competitions. While at Texas City, Mr. Dillard was fortunate to teach with Donnie Owens.

In 1999, Mr. Dillard graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Music, where he studied conducting with Mathew McInturf and percussion pedagogy with Doug Rosener and Alec Warren. He was a member of the SHSU Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble.

Professional affiliations include TMEA, TBA, PAS and Kappa Kappa Psi. He is also an educational endorser for Innovative Percussion. Mr. Dillard resides in The Woodlands, Texas with his wife Jennifer, who is also a band director.

Glenn Fugett

Glenn Fugett is in his 15th year as Associate Director of Bands at Westlake High School. Before his tenure at Westlake, he served as head middle school director for 5 years at Calallen I.S.D. in Corpus Christi. At Westlake, he conducts the Symphonic Band, the Jazz Ensembles, teaches A.P. Music Theory, teaches Applied Music classes and coordinates the percussion program throughout the district. Mr. Fugett's jazz ensembles have won numerous awards at festivals throughout the state. His percussion program has produced at least one All-State percussionist 14 out of the last 15 years.

Mr. Fugett is an adjudicator/clinician with Bands of America and Drum Corps International. He is currently the Percussion Caption Head for Drum Corps International. He is also a sought after jazz and percussion clinician. Mr. Fugett is a Yamaha Corporation of America artist and a clinician for Vic Firth Sticks and Mallets. He also serves on the Educational Board for Vic Firth.

He and his wife, Robin, will celebrate their 20th anniversary this August.

Chris King

Chris King is currently the percussion instructor for the Tomball Independent School District in Tomball, Texas. He is a 1995 graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. While at Sam Houston he performed with the Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Bearkat Marching Band, and several other university organizations.

Mr. King marched two summers with the Sky Ryders Drum & Bugle Corps. Paul Rennick, Brian West, and Brian Mason were his instructors. He was also on the staff for the Sky Ryders teaching the front ensemble.

Mr. King has performed with many great artists including Bob Becker and Shania Twain. His professional affiliations are PAS, TMEA, and TBA.
